Admittedly ACT

Let’s be real: prepping for the ACT is pretty much the worst thing ever. We know there are a million things you’d rather be doing, but let’s face it, your score kinda matters (just a lil bit ;) when it comes to getting into college, so we designed a program that is actually sorta fun that will ALSO get you a badass score to get you into your dream school.

ACT v SAT

Just like you, we love to hate the ACT and SAT equally; however, for 2015-2016, we’re only recommending students take the ACT (until June 2016). The new SAT launches in March 2016 and once they’ve worked out the kinks, we’ll be back at it with Admittedly SAT for the June exam, so hang tight and check out our awesome ACT program.

How It Works

We all know that one hundred crunches a day are going to get us into better shape, but do we do those hundred crunches every day? No, it’s hard. But if we had a coach to help push us and keep us on track to be in better shape, we’d hit our goals.

That’s where we come in. We’ve created an 8-week program that leads you right up to your test day. Our daily task-based emails will help you stay focused, and on track to getting your ideal ACT score.

Your typical weekly schedule will be a little something like this:

Monday: 25-45 Minutes - Lessons & Drills
Tuesday: 25-45 Minutes - Lessons & Drills
Wednesday: 25-45 Minutes - Lessons & Drills
Thursday: 25-45 Minutes - Lessons & Drills
Friday Flyday: Relax & Enjoy!
Saturday: Practice Test Day
Sunday: Review Day

Our Results

We’ve been using and improving our curriculum for the past 10 years and our students have improved an average of 4.5 points on the ACT and 320 points on the SAT. With our help, some students improved their ACT scores by as many as 17 points (← WHAAAATTT!!!)

Who's Your Coach?

A sample of the exclusive video lessons that will be delivered daily to your inbox!

In case you’re wondering who’s going to be popping up in your inbox every day over the next 8 weeks, it’s yours truly! My name is Jess and I’m the Founder & CEO of Admittedly and I've been literally living and breathing all things ACT and SAT for the past 12 years (fun times!) since I was a junior at Princeton University. Prior to launching Admittedly, I was tutoring full-time and was charging most of my clients $500+ per hour for the ACT prep you're about to receive for less than $100 for 8 weeks!

I definitely felt your pain back when I was in high school and know that the struggle IS real to get your dream scores, BUT if I could do it back then, then YOU can certainly do it now with my help. I ended up with a perfect score on the SAT (no one really took the ACT in NY back in the Stone Age ;), but most definitely did not start there. My starting PSAT score was the equivalent of an 1170 (on a 1600 scale), but I worked my booty off and crushed my exams.

You can do anything you put your mind to. Join me for 8 weeks of #noexcuses test prep and I’ll help you crush your exam too.

Why ACT?

The ACT is accepted by all US universities and colleges and can be used in place of an SAT. This year, the SAT is changing and the College Board still has a bunch of kinks to work out with the new exam. We don’t want you to be their guinea pig so are recommending the February and April ACT instead of the January and March SAT. By June, we’ll be back at it with our Admittedly SAT course.

When does the course begin?

We run 6 courses a year, and each course is 8 weeks long. Each course leads right up to test day so you’ll begin about 8 weeks before test day. The course for the February ACT begins on December 11; the course for the April ACT begins February 5, and the course for the June ACT begins April 8.

How does it work?

Once you sign up, you’ll receive a confirmation email and then we’ll send you some warm-up materials to get you started. You’ll then receive an email every day with your lessons, videos, and tasks of the day. You should expect to do 20-45 minutes of lessons and drills from Monday to Thursday, and should plan to take a practice test every Saturday, and should leave time on Sunday to review your exam. You’ll always have Fridays off for Friday Flyday.

What happens if I miss a day?

We know life sometimes gets in the way of studying, so if you can’t do a particular day’s tasks on that day, no worries. You can always double up the next day, or you can plan to tackle anything you missed on a Friday Flyday or over the weekend when you have more time.

What happens when it's over?

If you purchased the Overachiever Plan, you’ll have a full year of access to Admittedly ACT, so you’ll automatically be enrolled in the next course. If you didn’t purchase the Overachiever Plan, you’ll stop receiving your daily emails, and should plan to come back to the site to update your profile once you get your score in order to qualify for the Admittedly ACT Scholarship!

What if I'm not taking the February ACT?

We run courses all year for each ACT exam. If you're not planning to take the February ACT, you should wait to sign up for the course tailored to the exam you're taking. Sign-ups for the April ACT course will begin in January, so we'll be sure to let you know.
